The Elmwood OSCAR after school and holiday programmes has successfully operated on Elmwood Normal School’s grounds for the past 20 years, thanks to the support of the school and the work of its Committee. The programme offers high quality care for up to 24 children at all time (priority is given to Elmwood Normal and Heaton Intermediate school for the After-School programme).

We offer a safe, personalised and nurturing environment for children, helped by an adult to child ratio of 1 to 8.

We also acknowledge the difficult decision parents are faced with when enrolling their child or children into an after school or a holiday programme. We offer the assurance that our programmes are professionally run, that all staff are well trained, that they are police checked, and that they have extensive experience with children in a professional capacity.
